The Venice Carnival returns from 31 January to 17 February 2026.
With very ancient origins, with the first records dating back to 1094, the Venice Carnival, revived in 1979 after almost two centuries of absence, still preserves its old traditions, honoring a centuries-old history. The Venetian Carnival still means theater, delicious traditional foods, extraordinary masks and costumes. And, just as in the times of the Serenissima Republic, it can transform private palaces into places of celebration for balls and indulgences.
