Starting from San Nicolò, the first stop is the namesake church and the monumental Jewish Cemetery. From here, the cycle path follows the Murazzi, a scenic road running alongside the sea.

Continuing south, you reach the historic centre of Malamocco, where narrow alleys and small squares evoke a typically Venetian atmosphere. The route then follows the lagoon to the Alberoni nature reserve, where a ferry boat takes you across the channel to the island of Pellestrina.

Disembarking near the village of Portosecco, you’ll find women still practicing the traditional bobbin lace craft. The ride continues through the main town, lined with picturesque houses from the 16th and 17th centuries.

Once in Chioggia, take some time to explore its charming historic centre, famous for its original fishbone-shaped layout.

This easy route is ideal for families with children. The best times to enjoy it are spring and autumn. Along the way, don’t miss the natural oases—a unique and authentic way to discover the Venetian Lagoon.
